On the 25th May the whole school did cross country. Room6 boys sprinted off. I kept second for the whole two laps. On the last lap everyone was cheering. I was close to the line and then I finished second. Yay now to Tawa zone.
I felt so great that it was over because the race was so exhausting that I could just fall right over onto my back. At the end of the race I was so relieved because I was puffing hard core.
“Eyes on the track,” I say to myself as I run as fast as I can. “Come on Anton you can make it. RUN RUN RUN !” I came ninth and so I am a reserve for Tawa zone if someone gets sick. Anton

Running, running, sprinting, sprinting, and jogging up a hill! Boy this cross country is tough, Nellies right behind me, I can see the finish line, can I come second will she beat me, the finish line is straight ahead. Yes! I made it.
This year’s cross country was one of the hardest I have ever done on the treacherous hill and the seriously muddy field. It seemed easy but through the second lap, it became really hard and on the finish line, my hair was so frizzy and sweaty that it felt like I was shocked by a 2000-watt electric wire!
